If you think you may have seen a missing child, take action:
- Contact your local authorities.
- Contact any organization that helps to find missing kids.
- Never deal with the situation by yourself. Allow the proper authorities to do that for you.
- Observe it quietly. Take down any license numbers that may be important.
- Try to write down descriptions of the people the child was with.
- Record the child’s hair and eye color and any other unique characteristics if you can.
Even if you are not sure if the child you have seen is one of the faces in this publication, do not take a risk and make your call to let the authorities know about it. It is better to be mistaken than missing the opportunity to bring a child home.
